In this topic we look at rational functions or expressions. We first introduce the idea of a rational function and the non-permissible values or restrictions of a rational expressions. Once we understand what a rational function is we then look at multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction of rational expressions. Once these ideas are understood and practiced we then introduce the idea of a rational equation and proceed to solve rational equations. Practice exercise worksheets are provided to help work through the ideas and videos to help work through the exercises.
