Th Most people who have studied math in school have been introduced to the equation of a line. And while we may not all remember the equation of a line immediately, once someone mentions “y=mx=b” is usually comes back to us. There are other ways to write a line. The discriminant is a value that can be calculated for each quadratic equation. Depending on the value of the discriminant, we can determine if the quadratic equation has a solution, or has factors, or not.
