This online tutoring course focuses on applying the material learnt in the Calculus and Vectors course. This is one of three grade 12 math courses offered in Ontario, Canada, MCV4U. Students will learn about the geometric and algebraic definition of a vector. We start with the geometric idea of a vector. We then look at the algebraic definition of a vector and operations that may be performed with vectors. Examples of vectors in physics in particular force, velocity and acceleration are given. The ideas of the dot product and cross product and its applications and introduced. Vectors, definitions and examples are given in both two and three dimensions. Matrices are also introduced in this course.
We provide a variety of exercises and examples for practice. Videos going through related examples can be found on the Raise My Marks Youtube Channel.
