We introduce a number of parent functions. These are functions that can be viewed as the “basic” functions that other functions are built from through a combination of transformations. We introduce the basic transformations of functions and provide practice exercises working with these transformations on the given parent functions. A videos is provided to help work through the practice exerecise given on the worksheet.
