Advanced Functions

You’ve probably seen lines and quadratics; sines and cosines. These are all very particular functions. In this lesson we look at more advanced functions, what defines a function and more. Some of the functions we look at are the absolute value function, inverse function, the exponential function, the logarithmic function and we take a deeper look at rational functions and polynomials. This entire course considers more “advanced” functions, how to combine them, understand them algebraically and graphically. In this lesson we start by introducing the absolute value function, piecewise functions the inverse of a function and rates of change of a function.
